Suatu waktu di mana  Raja Kertamarta adalah raja dari Kerajaan Daha. Raja mempunyai 2 orang putri, namanya Dewi Galuh dan Candra Kirana yang cantik dan baik. Candra kirana sudah ditunangkan oleh putra mahkota Kerajaan Kahuripan yaitu Raden Inu Kertapati yang baik dan bijaksana.
Tapi saudara kandung Candra Kirana yaitu Galuh Ajeng sangat iri pada Candra kirana, karena Galuh Ajeng menaruh hati pada Raden Inu kemudian Galuh Ajeng menemui nenek sihir untuk mengutuk candra kirana. Dia juga memfitnahnya sehingga candra kirana diusir dari Istana ketika candra kirana berjalan menyusuri pantai, nenek sihirpun muncul dan menyihirnya menjadi keong emas dan membuangnya kelaut. Tapi sihirnya akan hilang bila keong emas berjumpa dengan tunangannya.
Suatu hari seorang nenek sedang mencari ikan dengan jala, dan keong emas terangkut. Keong Emas dibawanya pulang dan ditaruh di tempayan. Besoknya nenek itu mencari ikan lagi dilaut tetapi tak seekorpun didapat. Tapi ketika ia sampai digubuknya ia kaget karena sudah tersedia masakan yang enak-enak. Sinenek bertanya-tanya siapa yang memgirim masakan ini.
Begitu pula hari-hari berikutnya sinenek menjalani kejadian serupa, keesokan paginya nenek pura-pura kelaut ia mengintip apa yang terjadi, ternyata keong emas berubah menjadi gadis cantik langsung memasak, kemudian nenek menegurnya ” siapa gerangan kamu putri yang cantik ? ” Aku adalah putri kerajaan Daha yang disihir menjadi keong emas oleh saudaraku karena ia iri kepadaku ” kata keong emas, kemudian candra kirana berubah kembali menjadi keong emas. Nenek itu tertegun melihatnya.
Sementara pangeran Inu Kertapati tak mau diam saja ketika tahu candra kirana menghilang. Iapun mencarinya dengan cara menyamar menjadi rakyat biasa. Nenek sihirpun akhirnya tahu dan mengubah dirinya menjadi gagak untuk mencelakakan Raden Inu Kertapati. Raden Inu Kertapati Kaget sekali melihat burung gagak yang bisa berbicara dan mengetahui tujuannya. Ia menganggap burung gagak itu sakti dan menurutinya padahal raden Inu diberikan arah yang salah. Diperjalanan Raden Inu bertemu dengan seorang kakek yang sedang kelaparan, diberinya kakek itu makan. Ternyata kakek adalah orang sakti yang baik Ia menolong Raden Inu dari burung gagak itu.
Kakek itu memukul burung gagak dengan tongkatnya, dan burung itu menjadi asap. Akhirnya Raden Inu diberitahu dimana Candra Kirana berada, disuruhnya raden itu pergi kedesa dadapan. Setelah berjalan berhari-hari sampailah ia kedesa Dadapan Ia menghampiri sebuah gubuk yang dilihatnya untuk meminta seteguk air karena perbekalannya sudah habis. Tapi ternyata ia sangat terkejut, karena dari balik jendela ia melihatnya tunangannya sedang memasak. Akhirnya sihirnya pun hilang karena perjumpaan dengan Raden Inu. Tetapi pada saat itu muncul nenek pemilik gubuk itu dan putri Candra Kirana memperkenalkan Raden Inu pada nenek. Akhirnya Raden Inu memboyong tunangannya keistana, dan Candra Kirana menceritakan perbuatan Galuh Ajeng pada Baginda Kertamarta.
Baginda minta maaf kepada Candra Kirana dan sebaliknya. Galuh Ajeng mendapat hukuman yang setimpal. Karena takut Galuh Ajeng melarikan diri kehutan, kemudian ia terperosok dan jatuh kedalam jurang. Akhirnya pernikahan Candra kirana dan Raden Inu Kertapatipun berlangsung. Mereka memboyong nenek dadapan yang baik hati itu keistana dan mereka hidup bahagia

MALIN KUNDANG

Pada suatu waktu, hiduplah sebuah keluarga nelayan di pesisir Sumatera. Keluarga terdiri dari ayah, ibu dan anak bernama Malin Kundang. Karena kondisi keuangan keluarga yang mengkhawatirkan, sang ayah memutuskan untuk mencari nafkah di negeri seberang dengan mengarungi lautan yang luas. Jadi Malin dan ibunya tinggal di gubuk mereka. Seminggu, dua minggu, satu bulan, dua bulan bahkan setahun lebih panjang, ayah Malin juga tidak kembali ke kampung halamannya. Sehingga ibunya harus menggantikan ayah Malin untuk mencari nafkah.
Malin termasuk anak yang cerdas tetapi sedikit nakal. Ia sering mengejar ayam dan memukulnya dengan sapu. Suatu hari, ketika Malin sedang mengejar ayam, ia tersandung batu dan lengan kanannya terluka terkena batu. Luka menjadi tergores dilengannya dan tidak bisa hilang.
Setelah tumbuh dewasa, Malin Kundang merasa kasihan ibunya yang bekerja keras untuk hidup untuk meningkatkan diri. Ia berpikir untuk mencari nafkah di sisi negara dengan harapan nantinya ketika kembali ke rumah, dia sudah menjadi orang kaya. Malin tertarik dengan ajakan seorang nakhoda kapal dagang yang dulunya miskin sekarang sudah menjadi seorang yang kaya raya. Malin Kundang menyatakan niat untuk ibunya.
Ibunya awalnya kurang setuju dengan maksud Malin Kundang, namun karena terus mendesak Malin, Malin Kundang ibu akhirnya setuju meskipun dengan berat hati. Setelah mempersiapkan perlengkapan dan peralatan secukupnya, kepala Malin ke dermaga dengan diantar oleh ibunya. "Anakku, jika Anda telah berhasil dan menjadi kaya, jangan lupa tentang ibumu dan halamannu desa ini, Nak," kata Ms Malin Kundang sementara menangis. Kapal naik Malin yang semakin jauh, didampingi oleh Ms gelombang Malin Kundang. Selama berada di perahu, Malin Kundang banyak belajar tentang ilmu pelayaran pada kru yang telah berpengalaman. Sepanjang jalan, tiba-tiba naik Malin Kundang kapal diserang oleh bajak laut. Semua pedagang komoditas yang berada di kapal dirampas oleh bajak laut. Bahkan sebagian besar awak kapal dan orang-orang di kapal tersebut dibunuh oleh para bajak laut
Malin Kundang sangat beruntung ia tidak dibunuh oleh para bajak laut, karena ketika itu terjadi, Malin segera bersembunyi di sebuah ruang kecil tertutup oleh kayu. Malin Kundang terpaut di tengah laut, sampai akhirnya kapal itu terdampar di pantai. Dengan kekuatan yang tersisa yang tersedia, Malin Kundang berjalan ke desa terdekat dari pantai. Sesampainya di desa tersebut, Malin Kundang ditolong oleh masyarakat di desa tersebut setelah sebelumnya menceritakan kejadian yang menimpanya. Desa Malin mana terdampar adalah desa yang sangat subur. Dengan keuletan dan ketekunan dalam bekerja, Malin secara bertahap berhasil menjadi seorang yang kaya raya. Ia memiliki banyak kapal dagang dengan laki-laki lebih dari 100 orang.
Setelah menjadi kaya, Malin Kundang menikahi seorang gadis untuk menjadi istrinya. Berita Malin Kundang yang telah menjadi kaya dan menikah dengan ibu juga Malin Kundang. Ibu Malin Kundang merasa bersyukur dan sangat senang anaknya telah berhasil. Sejak itu, ibu Malin Kundang setiap hari pergi ke dermaga, menunggu anaknya mungkin kembali ke kampung halamannya. Setelah pernikahan yang panjang, Malin dan istrinya berlayar dengan kapal yang besar dan indah dengan kru dan banyak pengawal.
Malin Kundang ibu yang tinggal bersama anaknya setiap hari, melihat sebuah kapal yang sangat indah, ke pelabuhan. Dia melihat dua orang berdiri di dek. Ia percaya berdiri itu adalah anaknya dan istrinya Malin Kundang. Malin Kundang turun dari kapal. Dia disambut oleh ibunya. Setelah cukup dekat, ibunya melihat belas luka dilengan kanan, semakin meyakinkan ibunya bahwa ia mendekati Malin Kundang. "Malin Kundang, anakku, mengapa kau pergi begitu lama tanpa mengirimkan berita?", Dia berkata, memeluk Malin Kundang. Tapi apa yang terjadi kemudian? Malin Kundang segera membebaskan lengan ibunya dan mendorongnya ke bawah. "Perempuan tidak tahu diri, sebagai udara hanya ibu saya mengaku," kata Malin Kundang pada ibunya. Malin Kundang pura-pura tidak mengenali ibunya, malu dengan ibunya yang sudah tua dan memakai pakaian compang-camping. "Dia ibumu?", Malin Kundang istri Tanya. Karena kemarahan memuncak, ibu Malin berujung tangannya sambil berkata "Oh Tuhan, jika ia anakku, aku sumpahi dia menjadi sebuah batu". Tidak lama setelah angin badai meraung keras dan kekerasan menghancurkan kapal datang Malin Kundang. Setelah itu tubuh Malin Kundang perlahan menjadi kaku dan akhirnya akhirnya dibentuk menjadi batu.

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

1.1              THE BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM
English is very important because it is used by more than mions people as native language. Therefore, it is said to be the most widely used international language in the world. The fact implies that people all over the world, including in Indonesia, use English for diverse purposes. For Indonesian, English is learned mainly for the absorption and development of science, technology, social culture and for the development of relationship with other nations.
We should (use English, of course, in order to make interaction with others, especially English native speakers. As mentioned above that English is used by more than million people as a native language. The fact, it has been used by a lot of people as second language. Therefore, English is said to be most widely used international language (Abram, 1997:118). The clear relevance of the English course to their needs would improve the learner’s motivation and thereby make learning better in the future.
By learning English course, the students’ competence will increase more and more because the students have the high motivation to study and the learning system is very different with the formal educations. Usually the students are trained by conversation. As well as it implies that all over the world include of Indonesia should master English for diverse purposes. For Indonesia, English is learned mainly for the absorption and development of science, technology, social culture and for the development or relations with other nations (Depdiknas, 2006:103).
The government has recently introduced English as one of the subjects at Elementary School, more specifically English is taught as the local content. In comparison with the teaching of English as Elementary School and other educational institution, the implementation of English is teaching at elementary school is relatively new.


1.2              REASON FOR CHOOSING THE TOPIC
There are a number of reasons encourage in the writer to investigate the topic. First, based on the writer’s experience, her mastery as well as the student’s mastery of  writing skill is still unsatisfactory. Secondly, writing is a major skill in the since that it aids to the mastery and development of the other language skill and the language component Finally, knowledge or information is very useful for us. For that reason, it should be comprehended through writing. Thus writing is a skill which is necessary to comprehend information or knowledge.
It is undeniable that writing is really needed to understand information or knowledge. The scope of its space is very extensive, so that it is impossible to be discussed all at once. For that reason, then the writer will limit her study in the teaching and learning English using the technique of Community Language Teaching (CLI).
The writer would like to find out the implementation of the teaching and learning writing English using CLT technique in the sixth grade of Elementary School. By writing this paper, the writer expects to know the problem of the teaching Writing using CLT SDIT NURUL QUR’AN The writer will get some theoretical information about the teaching English using CLT technique. For teacher and other educational personnel, the result of study is expected to give some informative and dear understanding about the teaching and CLT English.

1.3              THE STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Based on the background above, this research is geared toward answering the following questions.
1.      What the teacher’s step used in CLT in writing English at SDIT Nurul Qur’an?
2.      What the Student’s troubles in CLT in understanding English writing at SDIT Nurul Qur’an?




1.4              THE AIMS OF THE STUDY
Generally this research is aimed at getting a dear description about structure of CLT in writing, designing of syllabi CLT, affectivity and efficiency in learning writing in CLT. This aim is the basic stage before the activity is done. The aim achieved in this research can be described as follow.
a.       The teacher’s step English writing at SDIT
b.      The student’s troubles to CLT in understanding English writing at SDIT

1.5              SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

a.       To give input to pay attention of learning accurately about writing learning using CLT.
b.      To give the learning facility about the books relation of writing using CLT

1.6              CLARIFICATION OF TERMS
To avoid misunderstanding, the following is the clarification of the term used in this paper.
1. Teaching
Teaching refers guiding and facilitating learning, enabling the learner to learn, setting the conditions for learning (Brown, 1987:7).
2. Writing
Writing refers to the process of extracting meaning from written or printed language. (Mc Arthur, 1992: 847).
3. CLT Technique
In this research, CLT is the process in writing by giving the text parts by parts for each group. Then the students discuss authority matters after that all of theta can be accounted by giving the conclusion
